The books are en route and we hope to have them in hand here in the next week or so. Once we have them, we'll launch the backerkit AND send out the PDFs (we just didn't want to send everything out piecemeal). If I get any news on the book shipment, I will post here immediately!
We sincerely appreciate your support and trust in this KS! It's going to be a great book!
P.S. Who is going to Game Hole Con this week? If you'd like to chat with me or Luke, be sure to hit us up on our Discord! https://discord.gg/Xfa59T7KYr
July Updates

Greetings, fellow Chentoufans! We are still going strong. Edits are complete, the story now all fits into place. We have to get the layout re-done because there were substantial enough changes to warrant it. However, we think you'll be happy with the changes made as the story now has a lot more history behind it - how did the Ydrissid make the Oculus of Senrahbah? Who hid it? Why was it so important? You'll find out!
Below is an image of an earth majnoom, an intelligent creature from the Elemental Plane of Earth (as the name might imply). Many of these creatures are thought to have come through the Rift after the world was torn asunder during the Wrath.
Enjoy!
June Update

Good evening fellow Chentoufans! I wanted to provide an update for the month of June. As discussed last time, we are going to go overseas with our print run. Currently (June 14th, 2025), we are waiting for some last minute edits on the final draft of the layout. That should be completed on Sunday. Our layout artist, Suzy, should have those changes completed within a day or less and then it's off to the printers!
Why are we making edits this late in the process, you ask? This is largely because of a mix-up on the lore of the campaign and the setting that lost some critical details during the conversion process - it was caught late, late, late...so we had to go back to the proverbial drawing board and make some substantial corrections.
Now we're just pouring through the 220 page book to make sure we didn't miss anything else.
In the mean time - we do have a couple of updated pieces of art to share from our good friend and artist, Alexandre Silveira. Enjoy!
Thank you for your continued patience!
Matt

Hail and well met backers!
I got the nudge that a couple folks wanted me to check in. The document is laid out and looks amazing. I’m doing a final review of the material before sending it to print. I don’t see any show stoppers to date. The turbulence around international commerce makes this very exciting as the margins are razor thin in this project. Even a minor increase means it’s a loss. I am a single person company with some truly wonderful contractors that do the best they can to assist. However I am a very very small press. Thanks for bearing with me as we navigate the constantly changing environment in order to stay solvent and deliver a quality product to you - our valued customer.
Cheers,
Luke

Good morning. The book is heading to layout in the next day or so - our layout designer is incredibly talented and fast, so I anticipate that taking less than a week. Once we're done with layout, the book will be headed to print and then to your respective doorsteps.
With that being said, we have had a decidedly difficult time getting the adventures converted - which has eaten up a ton of time (almost all of the time actually).
You will be, however, receiving a beautiful - nearly 200 page - hardback book that we are very happy with so far. The parallel "Shadowdark Universe" also has a few surprises up its sleeve for those of you who have played the 5e version.
Secondly, I am going to backpedal on what I mentioned last month regarding printing. It looks like we will be going with an overseas printer after all. Tariffs aren't affecting books and we just weren't able to get to a price per book here in the states that wouldn't put us in the hole on this project.
Everything else is either done or very close...close enough that we'll be opening up the Backerkit for fulfillment here in the next week or so.
Regards,
Matt Everhart
