Genghis Con is Feb 23-26, 2025. We have 6 seats for you to pledge to buy one seat to this game with Luke Gygax as your GM. You'll also receive all of the rewards in the Epic Hero tier.

Greetings Backers,
We are halfway through our campaign and things are going great! I wanted to let you know their is a new reward level added- Expedition tgo Genghis Con! The good folks that run the show invited me back to Colorado to be a Guest of Honor, so I figured I'll run a special session of Wrath of the Sea Lich! If you are going to Genghis Con in February, or are looking for a friendly and fun smaller con- come and play SD with me.
We hit our $30,000 goal a few days ago- thank you! We are adding two NEW classes specific to The World of Okkorim. The first is the Blighted Magus, an arcane caster that hails from the Blighted Lands, a desolate environ ravaged by the Chaos magic unleashed during the Great wrath eons ago. And the second is the Luminary, a holy warrior pledged to Ydrissid goddess of the Sun, Busheera. She holds sway over light, puritty, truth, knowledge, revelation and healing. Luminaries are fervent servants of law and light who see it as their sacred obligation to beat back the horrors hidden in darkness. They are strong but known to be bold to the point of foolhardiness. Bryan CP Steele and I are working these up now, and my friend Mike Mearls is a fan of Shadowdark so he is going to help me fine tune them. I'm excited to see the final version- and play them!
Next up at $35,000 are five new one-page adventure starters set in Okkorim, but easily adaptable to your setting as well. And we have more content to expand your Shadowdark campaign at $40k with two additional short adventures set in Okkorim. Each is designed to play in 2-3 hours. These will give most GM's sufficient material to start a new SD campaign and build up to, or allow your new group to level up and be set to really dig into the Wrath of the Sea Lich- which will be challenging. Past that we have Dyson Logos ready to picth in with 5 maps, and a bunch more.
However, we need your help to more the bar. I appreciate each and every backer thats gotten us to this point- you are awesome! Matt and I would be grateful if you share the campaign with your friends. I was surprised when the guys from The Wandering DMs podcast, Dan and Paul, told me they never heard of Shadowdark during my interview Sunday. After taking a look at the rules they were eager to play it. Despite its successful KS and four Gold Ennies, many gamers haven't heard of SD. I hope we can help spread the word as its a great system and Kelsey deserves the recognition. Maybe we can talk to her and get some Shadowdark rules setsto make a new reward- Shadowdark Initiate with the rules, set, Wrath and all the stretch goals!
